How to reach the Cité Internationale

In Lyon's 6th district, the Cité Internationale is bordered by the left bank of the Rhône, the Parc de la Tête d'Or
and the Winston Churchill and Raymond Poincaré bridges.
You can get to the site :
- by bus : route 4, (Jean Macé : the Cité Internationale). Frequency : every 10 minutes.
- by car : car park at the Cité Internationale

Private

Wednesdays, saturdays and Sundays 3.00 p.m. starting from the Palais des Congrès ; for young people (recommanded age : from 8 to 12); separate guided tours for adults. 5.00 p.m. from the Musée d'art contemporain : private guided tour (adults).
On Fridays 7.00 p.m. starting at the Musée d'art contemporain and the palais des Congrès : private guided tour for adults. Duration of visit : 90 minutes. Registration : at reception 15 minutes before the start of each visit at the Palais des Congrès or the Musée d'art contemporain.

Groups

Groups (maximum 20 people, reservation obligatory) : guided tours by appointment every day except Monday. Price (in addition to reduced price adminission tickets or permanent visitor cards) : 90 minutes : 500 frf - 3 hours : 900 frf - cycle of 3x90 minutes : 1.250 frf. School visits
(guided tour reservation obligatory) Thematic visits by appointment from Tuesday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Prices and duration of visits : - infant classes (15 children) 1 hour : 200 frf - age group 6.9 (15 children) 90 minutes : 250 frf - age group 10.11 (25 children) 2 hours : 350 frf - secondary schools (25 children) 2 hours : 350 frf - 3 hours : 450 frf - cycle : 3x2 hours : 900 frf. Courses in Contempory Art
Several courses are available for adults wishing to develop or widen their knowledge : 2 days course : Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th of January from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. 1 to 3 days courses as required for groups, associations and training organisations. Commented discussion of the works on show, historical and theorical indicators, bibliographical and documentary information. These courses can be approved as vocational training courses.
