Emery Blagdon Born in 1907 in Nebraska (USA). Died in 1986. "The Healing Machines", is a wooden shed containing more than 500 "healing machines". At the age of almost 50, Blagdon, who was a farmer in Nebraska, began to construct incredible assemblages of recovered materials. In 30 years of activity, he accumulated close to 600 pieces, all of which, to his mind, were charged with an energy that gave them curative powers. The Healing Machines are exhibited here for the first time.
