Wolfgang Laib Born in 1950 in Metzingen (Germany). Lives and works in Germany. "Blütenstande von Löwenzahn" (1997), he uses pollens to execute monochromes on the ground, a place of silence and meditation. He is producing a work specifically for the Biennial. Wolfgang Laib's work combines fragile, ephemeral materials with other, more durable materials. In his search for spiritual uplift, his works release a mystical, restrained emotion.
