Bul Lee Born in 1964. Lives and works in Seoul (Korea). "Majestic Splendor" (1997), reflection on the ephemeral nature of adorned beauty. Bul Lee contests the hegemony of the Korean tradition with regard to women. The installation presented here brings together two female attributes - perfume and ornaments - one of which breaks down and disrupts the seduction that it is supposed to bring to life.
