Rudolf Schwarzkogler Viennese Actionist born in 1940 in Vienna (Austria). Died in 1969. Sixteen photographs of performances. In 1965-1966, Schwartzkogler carried out six actions during which he submitted his body to a variety of morbid experiences. Concerned as he was to give these actions a dimension of a more pictural than theatrical type, he performed them in front of, and for, a photographer's camera.
